Summer’s Overflowing Abundance

☀️ Summer’s Overflowing Abundance

Summer here in the Southern Hemisphere feels like the world at its peak. The sun lingers long into the evening, the garden grows almost faster than I can keep up with, and everything buzzes with energy. It’s a season that doesn’t whisper abundance — it shouts it.

I remember one December in particular. My basil plants from spring had grown into thick, fragrant bushes, marigolds tumbled over their pots in golden waves, and even the weeds seemed to thrive. It felt like everything I had planted months before had suddenly leapt into fullness. And as I walked barefoot through the garden, I realized this was exactly what summer abundance is about: the harvest.

In spring, I’d focused on planting intentions, tucking them like little seeds beneath the soil. By summer, those intentions had grown roots and leaves of their own. I could see them reflected not only in the plants but in my life. A project I had started with nervous excitement had blossomed into something solid and successful. Finances I had worried over in winter now felt steady, with new opportunities arriving like unexpected fruit.

That season, I created a ritual to honor the overflow. Instead of planting or setting new goals, I gathered what I already had. I picked herbs, cut flowers, and even placed a few coins into a small bowl of water, letting the sunlight reflect across the surface. Around the bowl, I arranged everything I was grateful for — a journal with pages filled, a candle that had seen many spells, a small crystal I carried daily.

As I sat in the golden light, I spoke aloud my gratitude for each one. I didn’t ask for more; I simply acknowledged what had already come into being. And in that moment, I felt a deeper kind of wealth. Not the striving kind, but the fullness of simply noticing. Summer abundance is like that — a reminder to pause and see just how much life has already given.

Of course, summer also carries its challenges. Too much sun can scorch, too much growth can overwhelm. Abundance isn’t only about joy — sometimes it’s about balance, knowing when to prune, when to harvest, and when to simply enjoy the sweetness of the season without overreaching. That lesson has stayed with me in every part of my life.

When I look back now, that summer ritual stands as one of my clearest memories of wealth magic. It taught me that abundance isn’t always about calling in what’s missing. Sometimes it’s about standing in what’s already overflowing and saying: this is enough, and it is beautiful.

Next time, I’ll be stepping into something quite different — the mysterious world of the black mirror. We’ll begin exploring how this ancient tool has been used in magic, divination, and witchcraft, and how it connects to deeper forms of reflection and insight. It’s one of my favorite topics, and I can’t wait to share the journey with you.
